"The Best Christmas Ever!!" least that is what the kids all said. There is a valid reason for that though. After all of the "normal" Christmas presents were open, I went out to the garage and brought in one more little present, one that actually topped all the rest. This one actually made Kaden cry when he saw it, and made all of the kids forget about all the other gifts they least for a little while. Yep, we finally added another member to our family, a Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppy!! There was no question that it was love at first sight for all of the kids, and for Amy and I too:) He is so cute and good natured that it's hard not to like him.....even though he pee's everwhere! We are planning on having him be a mostly outdoor dog, but in this cold weather, we have been keeping him inside. The kids all decided that they liked the name "Kipper", so Kipper he is. We are happy to have him!

Mahalo Maui!!

Well, I'm finally getting around to posting some pics of our Maui trip. As expected, it was incredible. What an amazing place!! We had such a great time with my Mom & Dad and my brother Cory and his wife Lisa. We spent the large majority of our time snorkeling, boogie boarding, site seeing, and eating. Here are a bunch of pictures to prove it. Enjoy!

One of the "Twin Falls" on the Hana Road.

Pretty amazing spider. We saw several of these while there.

A view of a sacred pond from inside the "Garden of Eden".

These trees were amazing! We couldn't believe how vivid the colors were. They really looked like they had been painted.

My hottie by the pool....

Pic of Mom and Dad. The scene behind them was in one of the opening scenes of Jurassic Park.

Me in front of a small waterfall.

Me doing what I loved the most.

Me with a few friends.

Me tormenting Mom with a dead crab.

Not a great place to surf, but a beautiful place to sightsee.

We had a lot of fun boogie boarding, but some of the waves beat us up!

Playing in the surf.

Me and Ame in the Garden of Eden.

Me and my Pappy!

Playin' on the lava rocks.

Mama's Fish House was expensive, but the food, setting, and service was great!

There were some incredible plants.

This was taken by a GREAT snorkeling spot in Mekena.

Me going down for a closer look at something.

Lisa (my sis-in-law) french-kissing a parrot.

This guy made hats and baskets out of palm reeds. Pretty profitable business!

All of us at the Pupu Lounge at sunset.

My Bay Watch dad!

Not bad chocolate....we didn't ask what the special ingredients were....

Me, Mom, Cory, and Lisa at the falls.

Beach babes!

First Day of School--2008

These are a week old, but we finally reached that wonderful time of year again when we send our kids out the door each morning to catch the bus. I just don't know if Amy is going to be able to handle all of the quiet during the day! I'm sure she'll manage somehow. The boys were pretty excited this year because they are all in a brand new school! We went to the open house and it is REALLY nice!! Kenly is just excited, as usual, to be getting older and to soon become a "teenager." They are truly incredible kids and we feel extremely blessed to claim them as ours! Have a GREAT year, guys!!

All four....which consist of:

....and of course, Tanner!

They are a wild bunch!!
