16th Wedding Anniversary!!

Amy and I just celebrated our 16th anniversary!!! It is really hard to believe that we've been married for that long. I don't think we've changed a bit (but I'll let you be the judge). They have been a great 16 years! I am grateful every day that Amy said "yes" all those years ago. She is such an incredible wife and mom and I am a much better person with her pulling me along through this life. I look forward to the next 50 years!!

Some of you may find yourselves asking, "Are those really antelope horns hanging on Mike and Amy's bedroom wall??" and the answer to that question would be "Yes". I shot that antelope back when I was 12 or 13 and told Amy that if we are living in Wyoming that we should do as Wyomingites do. She hates them, but she is willing to put up with them until we get the basement finished.

NOW........

THEN.......

Oh my gosh! Mike you look so much like Matt in your wedding picture. I don't think you guys look that much alike, but every once in a while there'll be a pic and I can see a ton of similarities. Tell Amy and the kids that we said hi.

Hey Mike
I couldn't see the pictures to compare. About half of the time the pictures don't show up on my computer for some reason.

It is my son Ashton who works at the theater. He has worked there for several years while he is going to school at ISU.

It would have been great to see you guys. We were gone to Moab from Tuesday until Saturday for spring break, so we probably wouldn't have been around-but try next time you are in town. I didn't know your parents lived in I.F. I will be posting some pictures from our trip in the next couple of days-I will check back here as well to see if I can see the pictures to compare-though neither of you had seemed to change at all when we saw you at the reunion, so I am sure that there isn't much difference! Our family rooms (upstairs and down)are both decorated with dead animals-which are not my first choice-but we haven't gotten them in the bedroom yet-cute pun though.
see you guys later

Hows my brother? It sounds like you guys had a good time up at mom and dads house. Thats not too fun being so sick is it? We are going to try to make it up in a couple of weeks to mom and dads so that should be a hoot. I have been working on our fence and it looks so good. Now we can let Asher play in the back yard and not have to worry, it will be awesome! Talk to you soon.

Mike, I read The Alchemist this last summer. I've read so many other books since that were better, but it was ok. I don't know what you like though, if I didn't have to finish it for book club then it would've totally been one that I start and don't finish. Everyone raves about it though. If you move your mouse over the books I've read it'll give my little discription of the book. What good books have you read?

Mike & Amy, I was in IF this past week-end and visited my dear friends the Moore's. JoyLyn gave me your blog address and I have just spent the past half hour going over all the pictures and descriptions. It was so enjoyable to see how the family has grown and all the accomplishments.
I can't believe 16 years has passed since that wonderful day in the Salt Lake Temple when I was able to share in your joy. You were a beautiful couple "then" but "now" has only enhanced that. Little Kenly is a beautiful young woman and I wonder how can that be when she was just born a blink ago. What handsome young men you have and what achievers they are.
Your family will always be a part of mine. Your goodness radiates through pictures and words.
